South Korean pop music is thriving in Japan.<br/> <br />Over 18,000 fans flocked to Yokohama Arena to sing and dance with their favorite Kpop stars.<br/> <br />2PM, Crayon Pop and Girl's Day were among the 13 groups featured at the "M Countdown" concert.<br/> <br />Kpop has made major inroads in Japan, the world's second largest music market, in the last five years.<br/> <br />The cool image, distinct songs and dance choreography have made the music widely followed around Southeast Asia, which is usually dominated by pop stars from the West, Hong Kong or Taiwan.<br/> <br />The popularity of Psy's "Gangnam Style" has spurred growing international interest in other South Korean stars, who now aim to follow Psy into mainstream pop success.
