Make a Horn | MetKids

Follow along with Elisa, age 7, and learn how to make a horn using household items.<br /><br />Materials:<br /><br />• garden hose<br />• funnel<br />• duct tape<br /><br />Instructions:<br /><br />Make Your Horn<br />1. Cut off one end of a garden hose. The longer the hose, the more notes you can make.<br />2. You may stretch or coil the hose. If you choose to coil the hose, use duct tape to keep it in place.<br />3. Place a funnel in the cut end of the hose.<br /><br />Play Your Horn<br />1. First, practice buzzing your lips.<br />2. Then, place your lips against the metal ring at the end of the hose and buzz!<br />3. Buzz your lips hard to play a high pitch. Relax your lips when you buzz to play a low pitch.
